Our Flaxseed oil powder is a vegan fat powder with a 50% oil load, based upon refined flaxseed oil high in Alpha linolenic acid (ALA). The flaxseed oil is from Europe and spray dried with Acacia gum. The encapsulated powder is intended for dry formulations like Diet foods, Sports nutrition, Medical food or in Bakery applications.
The Flaxseed oil powder is a white powder with a neutral taste & smell and gives a free-flowing texture. Therefore, this product has many different application possibilities.

Health benefits of ALA
Flaxseeds are rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids of which Alpha linolenic acid (ALA) is the most abundant, also known as one of the Omega-3 fatty acids. The body can convert ALA into eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). This conversion however, is limited. Our flaxseed oil powder has a minimum of 23g ALA per 100g.
Taking ALA has different benefits related to health, such as lowering blood sugar levels, supporting healthy cholesterol levels and heart health, having antioxidant properties, and helping in protection against high blood pressure.
